Feigin Electric’s ECOD Smart Optimizer delivered a 17% reduction in electricity consumption at the Great Cosmo Industries manufacturing facility in Malaysia. The installation, carried out by Feigin Electric’s East Asian partner, Co.Efficient Alpha, was part of a funded initiative under the UOB FinLab GreenTech Accelerator 2024 program.

In April 2025, the ECOD system was installed at the 24/7 operating Great Cosmo manufacturing facility in Kuang, Selangor. By optimizing voltage levels, the system reduced energy losses and stabilized electrical supply across the plant. The incoming voltage was lowered from 247V to 234V, improving equipment operating conditions and overall power quality.
Verified data shows monthly savings of 13,445 kWh, equivalent to RM 4,702, with projected annual savings of RM 121,040.

Independent third-party IIoT monitoring confirmed the system’s performance, validating a 5% voltage optimization and a reduction of 10 tons of CO₂ emissions per month. Over a 10-year period, the solution is expected to generate more than RM 1.2 million in savings while eliminating approximately 2,600 tons of CO₂ emissions.

The project was one of 16 pilot implementations selected by UOB FinLab for funding and execution under the GreenTech Accelerator 2024 program, which supported 33 technology companies focused on sustainable development.

All verified results from the installation are suitable for ESG reporting and corporate sustainability disclosures. The system was installed without operational downtime and requires no ongoing maintenance.
