Revolutionary Energy Optimization
The Ecod Smart Optimizer reduces energy consumption by maintaining the voltage at the optimal level, saving 5-15% on electricity bills.
Unleashed Voltage
Electricity optimization is not just about the bill, but a sophisticated approach towards competitiveness, equipment protection, and environmental impact.
The power supply by your electricity company in charge is rarely steady and much less optimal as it should be within the established standards of 220/230 V or 110/120V.
Rather than that is it almost always more or less within a range of plus/minus 5 to 10%. Large cities get the worst of it as the voltage is usually close to the upper tolerance limit.
In a simple example in a country where 230V is taken as a basis in the network, there will be a value between 232-242V and even more.
As distributors increase the voltage in order to control drops at peak power consumption and reduce losses in the transmission lines, your appliances and equipment work harder, heat up, and suffer short lifespans while your electricity bill swells up. Higher voltage equals wasted power, as the excess voltage is dissipated as heat from devices.
Many devices are designed to operate best at the lower voltage range, so subjecting them to higher voltages wears them down, requiring replacement. Such voltage increase is the main cause of inefficient electricity usage, and while the end-user and environment shoulder the downside, the distributor reaps the”,

ECOD Helps You to Tackle the Most Common Power Quality Issues
Reactive Power
The phase angle between the current and voltage waveforms in an AC system. It is used to develop magnetic fields in motors and can cause a low power factor.
Harmonics
Multiples of the supply frequency, e.g., the fifth harmonic would be 250 Hz when the supply frequency is 50 Hz. They are caused by electronic loads such as variable speed drives and UPS systems.
Network Imbalance
Differences in voltage between lines, caused by single-phase loads, phase-to-phase loads, and unbalanced three-phase loads, such as welding equipment.
Surges
A sudden change in the sine wave that occurs in both voltage and current waveforms. They are caused by switching devices and the starting and stopping of high-power equipment.
Voltage Variations
Include sags, swells, surges, and interruptions. Line voltage is higher or lower than nominal for a short period. They are caused by network faults, switching of capacitive loads, and excessive loads.
Flicker
Random or repetitive changes in voltage. Caused by mills, electric arc furnaces (EAF), welding equipment, and shredders.
ECOD Operating Principle
Current Voltage Graph
The patented ECOD technology operates on a principle where an electronic controller regulates the direction of current in the coil of each transformer (one per phase), monitoring and balancing the network parameters. This is aimed at maintaining maximum efficiency with minimal power losses in the network.
Efficiency Graph
According to the diagram, we can clearly see that the efficiency of the air conditioner at a voltage of 210 to 220 V is close to 100%. This means that at this voltage, the air conditioner utilizes electrical energy optimally, achieving nearly 100% efficiency
Traditional Voltage Optimizers
- Operate on a basic voltage regulation transformers principle, using with specific capacities.
- Result in bulky and heavy designs due to the transformer size and weight.
- Larger dimensions and weight lead to higher losses.
- Focus on optimizing voltage but may not be as efficient in minimizing power loss.
- Provide limited space flexibility due to their substantial size.
- Offer potential energy savings of around 8%, but this is not consistent and might be used for internal operations rather than reducing total consumption.

ECOD
- Utilizes a unique patented technology, regulating current direction in transformer windings.
- Has dimensions and weight more than three times smaller than traditional optimizers.
- Significantly reduces losses, six times or more, contributing to greater efficiency.
- Optimizes power kWh, peak demand kW, and reactive power kVAr for comprehensive energy management.
- Takes up less space, offering easy integration into various environments.
- Increases equipment lifespan and ensures consistent savings of 5 to 15% on bills for selected loads.
